Carolina's Craft Room Tour

Do you want to see where I craft, how I store and organise all my crafting toys? Did I hear a big YES?! Then I invite you into my little Studio, let's have look around my happy place.

Behind my desk I have this IKEA bookcase. It is perfect for storing my stamps, punches and papers. You'll notice I have inserts that helps keep everything organised! If you're looking for something similar contact ColCraft on Facebook. Under the stamps are little drawers. In one I keep ink refill bottles, another for mini punches (retired), one for my glue gun and the last one is just for embossing tools - powders, emboss buddy & versamark.
I have a tonne of punches, the retired ones I've marked with a blue dot. Lastly here I store all my cardstock, DSP's and specialty papers in RAINBOW colour order of course!

To the left of my desk I store my Big Shot and paper guillotine. Within reach on the shelf (IKEA again) I have my Thinlets and Dies. Generally I quickly flick through to the one I'm wanting to use and put it at the front of the box, I die cut, then return the Dies to their packet. I've actually thrown out Dies before in the rubbish, so this system makes sure I'm not doing that. The glass jars above store embellishments, washi tapes, and one is just decorative with curled strips of scrap DSP. Under the shelves I store my scraps in Stampin' Up! colour families. The rule here is if it's too big to fit in the container it goes back in with the main cardstock pack (bookcase behind me). I have a box for projects that are to be blogged - very handy for building up a stash. Lastly my clear blocks are in a little box where I can easily grab the from.

The top drawer under the Big Shot table, holds my score board. When I need to score a card, there's no need to take the score board out so I just score and close the drawer. The middle drawer has ribbons, embellishments and all my markers. The last drawer is for extra supplies and odd bits n pieces.
My desk - this is the cleanest you'll ever see it! Not too much on the desk so as to not take over the space, I have just a couple of baskets (IKEA!) drawers and my Ink caddy. Keep on reading to see more!

The top of the caddy stores items I'm always reaching out for, in particular adhesives. Now I'm sure I'm not alone here but all Crafters will have a 'to be finished' box - yup it's an IKEA storage box. Mine has cut up DSP panels, extra die cuts, half finished cards and projects I was experimenting with. The embellishment box with cardstock circle cut outs is what I use when playing with colour combos. Usually that's how I start a project, with a colour combination.

Inks! I love the ink caddy. I've arranged the ink pads by colour groups, keeping one side just for the In Colours.

Lastly here's another shelving unit (let's see if you can guess where from? Hahaha this one stores extra stamp sets, my Saleabration tins all filled with cards I've made, my sewing machine right down the bottom there and a couple of paper organising boxes. The box on the left is for scraps of DSP, the other has cut up cardstock 'frames' - the piece to frame your whisper white panel, in all the colours. This saves me time having them ready to use.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed seeing my craft room, I'd love to hear what your favourite thing was or maybe you've got a storage/organising tip you'd like to share!
